1 - since 1952

Two generations ago, Jaume Vilaseca Bertranpetit, textile engineer, founded his own knitwear business, looking for comfort and quality in underwear. Now, we have almost 70 years of experience in this sector.

2 - made in Barcelona

This business was born in Mataró (Barcelona). We can proudly say all our products are locally and ethically designed and made in Spain. We produce our own fabric and we take care of all the process to guarantee the best quality.

3 - family

Jaume Vilaseca Bertranpetit brought this family business on thanks to the coexistence and cooperation between family life and work life. We want to express our family values creating garments for all family members in every life stage.

4 - timeless

We produce a wide timeless collection for women, men, girls and boys. This permanent collection consists in quality basics for the daily life. We also create fashion collections and we introduce them twice a year on spring/summer and autumn/winter campaigns.

5 - favorites

One of our most distinctives collections is AVET Rose, providing abundant comfort. We create these briefs since the 90s. They’re made with combed cotton and Lycra, seamless, with a rose detail in waist.

6 - origins

"AVET" is a tree name: it has roots but it aims to grow. "SET" is our lucky number: 7. With these brands we want to express our essential values, related with family, nature, effort and the art of making good choices.

7 - solar energy

In 2019 we adopted a new energy generation method for our facilities. We installed an entire solar panels system to recover solar energy and seize it for our activity. We want to take part in a better world!

8 - small retailers

Our brands are basically sold in small shops from cities and towns all around Spain and also in some European countries. The importance of retailers in our cities is vital, so we want to stand out their role in our business and in people’s daily life.

9 - knitted goods

Thanks to Jaume Vilaseca Foundation, a wide collection of elements (machines, documents, photographies, garments...) related with knitwear has been opened to citizens in order to understand the history of this sector in Mataró, where there is a strong textile tradition. Currently it can be visited in Museo Can Marfà Gènere de Punt.

10 - respect

We know at this time, few things last. This is why we want to pursue the importance of making things right, in our own country, ethically and responsibly with our planet and people. We keep working to improve!
